The Illini chess club is holding a scholastic tournament on October 25 at the Illini Union in Urbana.  The tournament will be 5 rounds and USFC rated.  The first round will begin at 10:15 with following rounds starting as soon as possible.  Early registration is $20, onsite registration is $30.

COST: The cost is $170.00/student before July 21, 2014; $190.00/student after July 21, 2014. Additional siblings receive a $50 discount. Please make checks payable to Pete Karagianis and note sibling status on the entry form on the back side of this flier. Please register early! LUNCH:
Please bring a sack lunch Monday-Thursday. Snacks and drinks will be provided. We
will provide pizza for those who want it on Friday.
 
EARLY AND LATE DROP-OFF:
Early dropoff will be available at 8:30A.M. each day. There is no additional charge for early dropoff. We will also provide child care from 3:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. each day for an additional $30.00 per child for the week.

SCHEDULE
WHAT: The Northbridge Chess Camp first began in 2001 when Bill Barton invited students to come and learn in a week-long atmosphere of fun-filled games, classes, and activities. The camp features competitive play, instructor review, and structured courses from Monday to Friday, when we cap it off with Bughouse (team chess) and Pizza.

Check in and all changes are due by 8:30 a.m. on Saturday
You must be checked in by 8:30 or you will not be paired for the first round.
The first round will start at   9:00 a.m.
with subsequent rounds to follow as soon as possible.
Please check that your USCF memberships are current.
USCF membership required, JTP
acceptable for K-3. USCF can be purchased on site or at
www.uschess.org.

The Evans tournament on Feb 8th has been CANCELLED. 

A handful of coaches have used the delete process to delete players from their team who are currently registered for an upcoming event.  This breaks the system.  As a result, we are temporarily suspending the delete process.
